If none of the co-authors of a paper were able attend in person for an exceptional situation, the organizers of the event were to be contacted.
The registration should have been for "Satellite events" (if only attending SAM 2024/other satellite events) or for "Full package" if attending the main MODELS 2024 conference as well.
