Sequence Charts have been used for years in connection with object-oriented analysis, but the notation itself has not offered any object-oriented facilities. This is remedied by MSC-2000
MSC document as the definiton of instance kinds is a Columbi egg in connection with object orientation. The MSCs easily plays the role of “methods” as they are called in Java terms (or virtual functions in C++ terms)
