Types of Submissions:
SAM 2022 welcomed academics and industrial submissions in the following categories:
- Full papers describing original, unpublished results (max 10 pages, including figures, appendices and references in ACM format).
- Short papers, describing work in progress (max 6 pages, including figures, appendices and references in ACM format).
Long papers should describe significant, original, and unpublished results related to but not limited to any of the SAM-related topics. Short papers are insightful contributions on SAM relevant topics such as preliminary and initial research results for which a complete evaluation has not yet been performed.
Authors were encouraged to submit of (long or short) papers that describe negative results and replication studies. This type of papers advance our knowledge by allowing us to continuously (re)evaluate our understanding of the current approaches.
Each paper submitted to the technical track was evaluated by at least three reviewers, based on significance, originality, substance, correctness, and clarity.
A Best Paper Award (selected by the program committee and SAM Co-chairs from the accepted and presented papers) was given to: Iulia Dragomir, Carlos Redondo Aparicio, Tiago Jorge da Silva, Laura Sequeira Gouveia, Iulian Ober, Ivan Kolesnikov, Marius Bozga and Maxime Perrotin for the paper Model-Checking of Space Systems designed with TASTE/SDL.

- All submission be in PDF and made via Easychair.
- All submissions must conform to SAM 2022 formatting instructions and must not exceed 10 pages for long technical papers and 6 pages for short technical paper. The page limit is strict, and it will not be possible to purchase additional pages
- Formatting instructions available at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template for both LaTeX and Word users are used. LaTeX users must use the provided acmart.cls and ACM-Reference-Format.bst without modification, enable the conference format in the preamble of the document (i.e., \documentclass[sigconf,review]{acmart}), and use the ACM reference format for the bibliography (i.e., \bibliographystyle{ACM-Reference-Format}). The review option adds line numbers, thereby allowing referees to refer to specific lines in their comments.
- By submitting to SAM 2022, authors acknowledge that they are aware of and agree to be bound by the ACM Policy and Procedures on Plagiarism and the IEEE Plagiarism FAQ. In particular, papers submitted to SAM 2022 must not have been published elsewhere and must not be under review or submitted for review elsewhere whilst under consideration for SAM 2022.
