This is common practice with SDT too.

If you are defining types, you can define them in a .pr include file,
and then put an include statement in a text box in the GR, to pull in
your PR definitions.

SDT also has a PR-to-GR converter, which should enable you to write
real SDL (not just types) in PR, and then have it converted to GR.
