We also encourage submitting (full or short) papers that describe negative results and replication studies. These papers advance knowledge by allowing us to (re)evaluate our understanding of the current approaches continuously.
The page limit includes figures and appendices. Up to two (2) more pages containing only references are allowed.
The SAM 2025 proceedings will be published by IEEE and included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
We ask all authors to obtain an ORCID to complete the publishing process for their accepted paper. IEEE has been involved in ORCID from the start and has committed to collecting ORCID from our published authors. IEEE is committed to improving author discoverability, ensuring proper attribution, and contributing to ongoing community efforts around name normalization; your ORCID will help in these efforts.
At least three reviewers will evaluate each submitted paper based on significance, originality, substance, correctness, and clarity.
Accepted papers must be presented in person at SAM 2025 by an author present at the conference.
The program committee chairs and members will select one of the presented papers for a Best Paper Award.
The best SAM 2025 papers will be invited to submit an extension of their work to Innovations in Systems and Software Engineering ISSE NASA Journal published by Springer.
